City-to-city comparison
Put the trade-offs side by side.
Choose two cities and the way you will earn. See how housing, transport, paperwork, weather and job options differ.
Two separate comparisons: editorial research scores and your own monthly cash estimate. Neither establishes which city is financially better for you.

What might be left each month?

How the monthly estimate works
Enter everyday costs in each city's currency. We add rent, utilities, food and daily costs for the household, health cover, transport and any school fees. The exchange rate converts that total into your chosen pay currency, so the two results can be compared side by side. For a local hire, an optional city-specific take-home offer is entered in that city's currency and converted the same way. We subtract the converted spending, your chosen transfer-cost percentage and bills still due at home from take-home pay. Taxes are assumed to be reflected in take-home pay. Deposits, setup fees, savings targets and one-off moves are excluded.
All amounts are your own quotes, with no prefilled market ranges. Start with a real rent quote and a current rate from your bank or transfer provider. Test a higher rent and a weaker exchange rate before committing.
